Coffee Cocktail Champion 2023 competition terms & conditions
1. Organisers
The organisers of the competition are Arvid Nordquist Finland, Teerenpeli and T.R.Björkbom Trading in collaboration with the FFCR event.
2. Participation
Anyone over 18 of age, who work in the restaurant industry or is a student of the field can apply. The qualifying jury selects the contestants based on anonymously submitted recipes and photos. Four contestants will make it to the competition
3. Timing
You can apply to the competition between 16th January 2023 and 23rd February 2023. The application period ends on February 23th, 2023 midnight. Entries received after the application deadline will not be accepted. The participant is responsible submitting the application e-mail during the participation period.
4. Qualifying, semi-finals and final

Qualifying:
You can register for the competition by sending your own recipe and picture of the cocktail. The recipe and photo of the qualifying competition must be submitted to ffcr@easyfairs.com by midnight on February 23rd, 2023 at latest. The qualifying jury chooses the contestants for the semi-finals anonymously based on recipes and photos. Competitors will be informed personally of their entry into the competition by March 2nd, 2023, after which all the competitors will be announced.
Final:
In the final, each contestant has 5 minutes for preparations and 5 minutes to make their cocktail in front of the jury. The contestant has to prepare 3 portions of the same cocktail, of which two go to the jury and one is photographed. The organiser provides the sponsor products used in the competition.
5. Ingredients used in the competition
All ingredients used in the competition have to be from the competition partners’ selections.
6. Jury
Competition jury consists of industry professionals and representatives of competition partners.
6. Competition prizes
Only the competition winner will be announced. Prices are: a visit to Arvid Nordquist coffee roastery in Sweden (travel expenses paid by Arvid Nordquist), a visit to Teerenpeli Brewery & Distillery and T.R. Björkbom products.
All the finalists get a small prize for their attendance,
7. Liability of organisers and partners for any damage
The organisers are not responsible for damages caused by participating in the competition, claiming the prize or using the prize. The organisers’ liability towards the prize winner never exceeds the value of the prize. The winner of the prize releases the organizer and partners of the competition from all liability regarding injury or damage caused by claiming or using the prize.
8. Taxes and other expences
The competition organiser is not responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred by the competition. The winners of the competition are responsible for any tax that may arise from the competition prize.
9. Processing personal data and right for publication
The participants’ personal data is processed in accordance with the terms of the Personal Data Act. By participating in the competition, each participant gives the organisers and partner companies the right to use their name, image and statements as well as recipes and images in competition-related information and communication in various media channels without separate consent or compensation.
10. Winner responsibilities
Competition organiser and partners have the right to interview the winner and publish the interview, photo of the winner, and the recipe of the winner in their own media channels. The winner commits to give an interview also to the industry press after the final.

The organiser reserves the rights to change these rules
